Best restaurant I tried in Latin America, MIL centro is so strong on using unique Andean products to recreate modern, multiple, foreign yet harmonized sensations in mouth, both in cuisine and beverage (non alcohol pair ). Worthy to try in lifetime.
Wonderful educational experience with amazing high altitude cultivated foods.
This now is the best meal experience I have had. It is my wife’s 2nd place. The place is 11,000 feet above sea level and an hour from our hotel. But so worth the trip.
Incredible experience! We had a lunch with immersive tour. The tour was guided by Andrea and Celine and we were accompanied by 3 local community members who explained us the different plant, herbs and vegetables grown around Mil. We had the best table with an incredible view. The attention to detail is unprecedented and it really feels you step into a family business.
An experience more than a meal--even getting to this restaurant is quite the trek. The facility is idyllic and has a little courtyard in the middle. The experience begins with a brief tour showing off their chocolate making and ingredients. I really appreciate their effort to explain their cooking ideology prior to the meal. As for the food itself, everything has terrific execution and presentation, but it does not wow. I particularly liked the corn dish featuring various types of corn made in to chips. Meanwhile, the pork belly dish was extremely heavy. The tumbo desert was fantastically tart. It is very respectable that they stick to ingredients from the region and showcase these environments. Lovely experience!
Located just near Moray Ruins, it’s one of the best food experience I had
Lovely high concept micro-sourced cuisine. Expect 4 hour meal, culinary delight. Friendly staff very much about presenting guests with an experience—food you will never have seen before or after this meal! Reservations required. Pricey eg $150-250 US per person with fixed price set menu and option for alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks pairings, which were also excellent.
A fantastic, quiet, and picturesque place. The restaurant prides itself by working with local communities to provide all the food on the table. The 8 course tasting menu cost 548 sols per person. Service and food quality is wonderful. All the dishes were tasty, and it is wonderful to learn the history behind each dish, and the thoughts the chefs had in bringing out the culture of the locals.Very with going! (You need to reserve in advance first)
